Everyman Theatre Trip for Leaving Cert English

5th and 6th Year English students travelled to The Everyman Theatre, in Cork City today to see the production of their Leaving Cert Single Text, 'Sive'. It was a class act performed by The Patrician Academy Players, Mallow. Enjoyed by all, with a spot of lunch and a quick stroll around the city before heading back to Milltown.

Student Enterprise Awards MTU

Well done to our 1st year students, Muireann Curran (Kerry A), Leo Meade (Captain, Kerry B), and Katie Greaney (Kerry B), who took part in the Munster Inter-County U15 Juvenile Badminton Championship in February. Both the Kerry A and Kerry B teams earned impressive silver medals. Great achievement!

UCD Scholar Award: Grace O'Sullivan

🎓Congratulations to former student Grace O'Sullivan on receiving the 2025 Entrance Scholar Award from University College Dublin, in recognition of her exceptional Leaving Certificate results. Grace is now studying Veterinary Medicine at UCD. 🎓 Another wonderful achievement for Grace is being awarded a UCD Sports Scholarship. Following her selection to represent Ireland at the Coupe de la Jeunesse in Austria in 2025, the scholarship will support her in continuing her passion for rowing while representing UCD alongside her studies. Well done Grace!!🚣‍♀️👍👍

TY STEM Challenge: Astellas & J&J Visits

Our TY students taking part in the STEM TY Challenge enjoyed industry visits on Friday to Astellas and Johnson & Johnson. During the visits, students attended a presentation, took part in mentor interviews, and were given a tour of the sites. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet their mentors, gain an insight into what life in STEM is really like, and see how classroom learning connects with real industry.👍

Munster Inter-County U15 Juvenile Badminton Championship

U15 & U17 Boys Football Victories

Great result today for our U15 Boys Football team, who defeated Mallow in the Munster Quarter Final on a scoreline of 7-6 to 2-6. 👍

Also well done to our U17 team, who had a great win over local rivals ISK Killorglin in the Dunloe Cup Quarter Final at Milltown yesterday, winning on a score of 1-20 to 2-9.

Fantastic performances from both teams! 💪

TYs present donation cheque to Elma Walsh

💙💛 Today, TYs welcomed back Elma Walsh to present her with the monies raised from the whole school non-uniform day in January, in aid of The Donal Walsh #LiveLife Foundation.

Big well done again to TYs for organising and to everyone who got involved on the day, donating and raising over €1190. 👍💙💛

The funds will support The Donal Walsh #LiveLife Foundation and celebrate the fantastic school community effort behind this fundraising success.

Kerry B Team Win Gold at Munster U17 Badminton

Huge congratulations to Lily Falvey, Liwia Polanczyk and Dorian Browne, who won gold with the Kerry B team in the Munster U17 Badminton competition on Saturday.

The teammates dedication and strong teamwork delivered a fantastic performance and brought top honours back to Presentation Secondary.

A huge well done to Lily, Liwia, Dorian and all our coaches for this outstanding achievement.

Two of our 2nd Year Enterprise groups attended the Student Enterprise Awards in MTU today.

Gear Up and Go, run by Paddy O'Sullivan, Jack Clifford and Jack Kennedy, run by Clodagh Lenihan, Eve Giles and Mia Giles, both represented the school brilliantly.

A special congratulations to Gear Up and Go, who won the runner-up prize in the Intermediate category.

Important dates:

Incoming first year's applications open October 1st of any given year. The closing date is October 31st.
Open night occurs in the 2nd week of October each year.
Enrollment for all other years requires contact to be made with the school secretary for the most up-to-date information.
